We told the kids that Thanksgiving is also the Kick-Off to Christmas. We used every minute of the long weekend to make it so. Shopping, Christmas decorating, hanging Christmas lights, family fun, and a Santa sighting. The pics are from the Children's Museum and a Christmas Tree Lighting that we have made a family tradition the last couple of years. The kids highlights were for sure decorating the tree and having a Christmas Movie night/sleep-over in mom and dad's room. Any guesses who fell asleep first.... yes, it was mommy. Most of you know that as soon as any movie starts she is OUT. * important to note that the kids slept so well in our room that daddy over slept and stepped on Matthew when he flew out of bed....oops;)

It sounds like you guys made the most of the weekend. I love the idea of a movie sleepover in the parent's room! What a fun memory for your kids.
